The world is changing, and so are the opportunities. At WOVEN, you’ll find training designed to help you develop new skills, discover innovative ways to start a business and prepare yourself for the challenges of an ever-changing job market.
Through practical methodologies, real-world challenges and innovative tools, you will learn to identify opportunities, generate ideas that make a difference and help build more sustainable and resilient communities.
IES Jérica-Viver is hosting the WOVEN training programme on green skills, featuring presentations on the project and the European sustainability framework, practical workshops involving teachers from Spain and Portugal, a tasting of local produce, and a cultural tour of Jérica’s historical heritage, including its tower and museum.
Day two of WOVEN: group activities, a talk on environmental communication given by an expert journalist, lesson plan design by the teaching staff, and a visit to the Viver Cooperative, including a tour of the fields, a demonstration of the oil-making process, and a final tasting session led by specialists.
The WOVEN project concludes with a presentation of the lesson plans designed by the teachers, a discussion on environmental communication, a talk on climate change given by an expert from CRESOL, a review session, the presentation of a local gift, and a farewell meal for the participants.
